You're in the midst of the Great Schism away from the Dark Age of economics and religions. Everything pre-21st century is the Dark Age.
As we can see from current events, it’s time for a new religion, maybe not even use the abused word 'religion' but rather a Way of Abiding that fits our 21st century evolved humane-intelligence: We are Reality not myth. We are global interdependence, global communication, global economics.
Reality is far more profound than myth. Reality annihilates myth.
The list of current religions leave a trail of political corruption, sexual hysteria, an affinity with military murders, and religious based justifications for repression.
It’s time to leave behind the toga-and-sandals antiquities and Dark Age superstitious attitudes of the past and intellectually upgrade to the world we know now.
How to tell if your religion is a relic of the Dark Age and you need to leave it behind:
By the religion’s myths, text, dogma does it block access to an abortion, birth control and deny equal rights to women throughout the religion and society?
Then it’s a Dark Age religion.
By the religion’s myths, text, dogma does it deny equal rights to gays throughout the religion and society?
Then it’s a Dark Age religion.
By the religion’s myths, text, dogma does it cling to myths and deny scientific research?
Then it’s a Dark Age religion.
By the religion’s myths, text, dogma does it claim that it’s members are the ‘chosen people’ or that their religion is the ‘only way’ or that only their members are going to be ‘saved’ after death?
Then it’s a Dark Age religion.
By the religion’s myths, text, and dogma does it claim to have dominionism — that is, the belief that “right-thinking” Christians have a biblically derived mandate to take control of all aspects of government and society?
Then it’s a Dark Age religion.
The continued implementation of that Dark Age foolishness are justifications for repression, racism, bigotry, and violence against others. The historical record is full of the fascism, murder and brutality caused by such Dark Age ignorance.
It’s why those Dark Age religions can’t upgrade to the Reality and humane intelligence of the 21st century. The whole religion is based upon myth, fantasy, and repression. To upgrade to 21st century Reality and humane intelligence, all those myths and justifications for repression have to be thrown out.

As long as the texts, educational material and dogma of the religion retains those myths then there will continue to be the excuse for religion’s fascism and intentional ignorance. If those myths are not thrown out, as the historical record has shown, there will be the ‘fundamentalist’ or the orthodox or revivalist or right wing fascist or American republican who will return to the myths and repression justified by those myths and institute religious ordained violence again.

The essence and truth of the Society of Sacred Flowers is one motivation.
